List of the most important parts of a car

I've noticed many online users asking, "What parts make up a whole vehicle?" I thought a simple table would be clearer.
When it comes to vehicle parts, there are two ways to describe them: assembled components and BOM parts. Many parts fall somewhere in between, as shown in the following images. These are commonly seen, but difficult to categorize. These diagrams aren't the BOMs used internally by automakers, nor are they clear representations of assembled components.
There are only one or two hundred suppliers for categorized parts.
For automakers, the truly important parts, at the assembly level, aren't as numerous as those in the BOM (thousands), but rather only one or two hundred. Automakers select suppliers based on these one or two hundred assemblies.
Based on my previous work experience, I've organized the relatively important parts of a vehicle into four main categories for clarity. Automaker R&D largely revolves around these key components.
Of course, there are many extensions based on these parts, but they generally don't involve special processes. In other words, the suppliers of these key components generally have the capacity to handle other smaller, derivative parts.
