During electricity usage, people notice the impact of the cross-sectional area of power cord material on electrical safety, but often don't pay enough attention to the use of insulating tape on connectors. Power line installations are becoming increasingly complex, running under wooden floors, in walls, in partitions, and even in damp underground or underwater areas. Improper use of insulating tape can lead to leakage, endangering personal safety. Therefore, we must use insulating tape correctly. Power cord connectors include '+' type, '-' type, 'T' type, etc. The connectors should be tightly wound and smooth without burrs. Otherwise, before disconnecting the wire, gently press it with pliers, then wrap it to the crimped area, and then swing it left and right. The wire end will then break off neatly at the connector. If the connector is in a dry place, first wrap it with 2 layers of black insulating tape, then 2 layers of plastic tape, then stretch self-adhesive insulating tape by about 200% and wrap it 2-3 layers, and finally wrap it with 2 layers of plastic tape.
